Kevin first got involved with the Boys and Girls Clubs in 2011. After attending many events, he realized there weren’t as many young professionals involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Austin as there should be. After a year of planning, Club Blue of the Austin Area was officially launched with 9 Founding Members. In the first year of operations, the new non-profit raised over $12,000 to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Austin Area.
Outside of his efforts with Club Blue, Kevin is the Acquisitions Director for a Private Equity Real Estate Investment Company, Virtus Real Estate Capital. Kevin holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
Jon joined Club Blue in the winter of 2015/2016 after moving from Washington DC to Austin, TX. He knows that a lack of education is a driving factor for unemployment and income equality; by encouraging kids to have a safe environment after school, the Austin Boys and Girls club is fulfilling a mission that encourages education and a safe environment for kids to interact between school and heading home. His participation with Club Blue is meant to support this mission and he intends on supporting the Boys and Girls Club throughout my life.
Outside of Club Blue, Jon is a Director with the Advisory Board Company in their Strategy and Operations department. Jon holds a B.S.E. from Princeton University in Operations Research and Financial Engineering and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Texas Austin.
Chief Marketing Officer and Founding Member
Lindsay became involved in the Boys and Girls Club in 2015, helping to found Club Blue of the Austin Area with several friends after looking for ways to spend more time giving back to the community. She has previously been involved with Reading is Fundamental, the United Way Giving Campaign and the Capital Area Food Bank of Central Texas.
Lindsay is a sales director for Zilliant, a data science and software company headquartered in Austin. Lindsay earned a BS in Public Relations and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Christopher first got involved with the Boys and Girls Club in 2014. After moving to Austin and looking to get involved in the community, he attended multiple Boys and Girls Club events and joined the effort to start a young professionals organization supporting the Boys and Girls Club of the Austin Area. Along with 8 other Founding members, he helped plan and launch Club Blue of the Austin Area in 2016. Christopher played a pivotal role in organizing the First Annual Club Blue Glowball Golf Tournament which helped raise over $11,000 to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Austin Area.
Outside of Club Blue, Christopher is the VP of Acquisitions for a Private Equity Real Estate Company, Virtus Real Estate Capital.Chris holds a B.S in Finance from North Carolina State University.
Treasurer and Founding Member
Alania has a long history of volunteering with youth, starting with teaching dance to underprivileged youth at the Nehemiah Neighborhood Center in Houston while she was in high school. In 2012 she first began volunteering as an after-school mentor at the South Austin Boys and Girls Club, and wanted to do more with the organization. So, when Kevin approached her in 2015 about forming a young professionals organization to support the BGCAA, she was in, and served as one of the founding members of Club Blue.
During weekdays you will find Alania traveling the globe consulting with clients on new products in her role as Director of Product Management for Blackbaud. On weekends, her and her husband like running, cycling, dancing, and taking their dog, Maverick, to Town Lake. Alania graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC with a BFA in Dance Performance and from The University of Texas at Austin with an MBA.
Alex Durham joined Club Blue as a founding board member in 2016. He has always thought highly of the Boys and Girls Club's mission, and was thrilled to join the board of a new charity geared towards young professionals.
Alex is a graduate of Texas A&M University and works in the commercial real estate industry as a tenant representation broker with Colliers International. In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and attending sporting events.
Lars has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club since 2007. Lars was in charge of philanthropic activities for the male Greek community while a student at the University of Georgia. During this time at the University of Georgia he partnered with the Boys and Girls Club, sponsoring weekly tutoring and fundraising for numerous events. Upon moving to Austin, Lars met other young professionals who were also passionate about the Boys and Girls Club and its role in the development of our community’s youth. After a year of planning, Club Blue was officially launched with nine Founding Members and has raised $12,000 in the first year of operations.
Outside of his efforts with Club Blue, Lars is an Associate at Owner Resource group, a middle-market Private Equity Firm headquartered in Austin. Lars received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia.
Nick was introduced to the Boys and Girls Club in late 2014. He was invited to join as a founding board member of Club Blue and assist with the formation and strategy of the organization. Early on, Nick connected with other young professional organizations around the county that are affiliated with the Boys and Girls Club to learn about their structure and identify best practices to use for Club Blue. He has worked closely with the entire board to implement these ideas and assist with the establishment of Club Blue. His on-going responsibilities in Club Blue include syndicating corporate sponsorships, event planning, and member recruitment.
Outside of Club Blue, Nick is the Asset Manager for a Private Equity Real Estate Company, Virtus Real Estate Capital. In his free time, he is an avid outdoorsman that enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time on the lake. Nick holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
Lisa first became involved with Club Blue in 2015 through various volunteer and fundraising events. After participating for 2 years, she wanted to take on more responsibility within the club and successfully helped plan and administer a happy hour fundraising event hosted by theCHIVE.
Outside of her efforts with Club Blue, Lisa is a senior property accountant for a Private Equity Real Estate Company, Virtus Real Estate Capital. Lisa holds a B.S in Finance from Sam Houston State University.
Jennifer joined Club Blue as a Board Member in 2018. She had the privilege of attending multiple Club Blue events over the last few years and is excited to take on a role within the organization. Jennifer is a native Tennessean who teaches Sunday school on the weekends and has a passion for philanthropy.
Outside of Club Blue, Jennifer is a senior Sales Representative at SKG, one of Austin’s most notable corporate furniture providers and has a BS in Business Administration from Ole Miss. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time on the lake and walking the green belt trails with her husband and their beloved Australian Shepard, Annie.
Eric Machak joined Club Blue as a member in 2015, joining the board in 2018. As an Engineering undergrad at the University of Michigan, Eric held board positions on two community service student organizations. Since graduating he has continued his community involvement in Texas, including supporting Meals on Wheels and Ronald McDonald house.
Eric holds a MBA from the University of Texas and now works as an independent consultant specializing in IT and Finance process design, following 5 years with Deloitte. When not with clients he enjoys cooking and staying active on the many trails around Austin.
Alex Wilkerson joined Club Blue as a new board member in 2018 and is excited to be involved with the Boys & Girls Club. Alex is passionate about giving back to the community, currently being involved in the Big Brothers Big Sister program and St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
Outside of Club Blue, Alex works in operations at Zilliant, a data science and software company in Austin. He is a jazz and blues saxophonist here in Austin, and is a big sports fan. Alex holds a B.A in International Studies and Chinese Language from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.
Clive Runnells IV
Clive joined the Club Blue Board in 2018 and is excited to be supporting the kids who will be the future of Austin. After moving back to his hometown, he was reminded of his appreciation of the Austin community and longed to find a way to benefit the future of the town that shaped his youth. He became acquainted with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Austin through his company’s work developing the soon to be completed Austin Area Legacy Club and began attending BGCAA and Club Blue fundraising events as often as he could.
Clive is an investments analyst at American Campus Communities, a nationwide publically traded student housing REIT. Clive earned a BS in Economics from the University of Washington in Seattle. From his time in the northwest, he loves the outdoors and can be found helping others cultivate this passion through his support of the Explore Austin organization
